[VIDEO] "Regards croisés by Carnot TSN": when innovation is the subject of debate

Since its creation in May 2025, Regards croisés by Carnot TSN has set itself the goal of bringing together researchers, experts and economic players to discuss the major technological issues shaping our future. Hosted by the Carnot TSN institute, this panel discussion format focuses on two major themes: the digital technologies of tomorrow, and their impact on society and industry.

1. Future networks and AI: co-construction for innovation

In this first session, guests explored the interactions between artificial intelligence and advanced networks - whether 5G/6G networks, distributed architectures or multi-agent systems. AI is presented not only as a disruptive technology, but also as a lever of efficiency and autonomy for intelligent infrastructures.

Highlights :

Integrating AI into communication systems to anticipate and optimize data traffic.
The emergence of multi-agent systems capable of adapting to uncertain environments.
The challenges of robustness, interoperability and ethics inherent in the use of AI in critical networks.

Discussions highlighted the importance of a structured dialogue between researchers and industry to design solutions that are both effective and responsible.

2. Digital technologies: issues, challenges and prospects

In this second program, the debate focused on the strategic challenges of digital technologies, from infrastructure development to the transition to more sustainable and inclusive models.

Themes explored :

Accelerating network capacities in the face of exponential data needs.
The impact of digital technologies on business models and professions.
The emphasis is on collaborative innovation and the co-construction of solutions with local and industrial players.

This issue also highlighted the need to support companies in their digital transformation, in order to boost their competitiveness while ensuring responsible adoption of technologies.

At the heart of these two programs is a shared commitment to fostering the exchange and collective construction of knowledge. The Institut Carnot TSN, with its expertise in digital technologies, acts as a bridge between academic research and the concrete needs of industry.
