[VIDEO] Discover the RAMSES platform at Télécom Paris

March 10, 2025 - Big Data & AI - Cybersecurity - Industry of the future - Networks & IoT - Smart City

RAMSES is a platform dedicated to the design of real-time critical embedded systems. The Carnot institute Télécom & Société numérique visited Télécom Paris, where the platform is located, to interview RAMSES researchers on the various aspects of its technologies.

The RAMSES platform features an AADL (Architecture Analysis and Design Language) compiler, a standard language used to describe computer architectures. Users can model their system, which RAMSES then analyzes to provide information for optimizing the AADL code. In this way, the platform contributes to the design of systems that are both more efficient, thanks to an assessment of the time allocated to each task, and more resilient, by optimizing resource management according to the criticality of each function.

This video sheds light on the resources used, the birth of RAMSES, and the platform's future prospects.

[BELLE HISTOIRE] Using AI to help detect breast cancer

Tomosynthesis of the breast, or 3D mammography, aims to improve early diagnosis of breast cancer, using more precise 3D images that may, however, be subject to degradation due to the constraints associated with the examination. Arnaud Quillent has set out to overcome these limitations using deep learning, as part of a CIFRE thesis involving GE HealthCare and LTCI, a laboratory at Télécom Paris, part of the Carnot TSN institute.
