The LaserSurf joint laboratory has been uniting IREPA LASER and the ICube laboratory, part of the Carnot TSN institute, since 2023. The two partners intend to extend their work on the functionalization of surfaces by laser, and successfully scale up their innovative processes to industrial scale.

[BELLE HISTOIRE] A platform for testing the performance of new telecoms systems
The POM project brought together researchers from Télécom Paris, part of the Carnot TSN institute, and Nokia Bell Labs to model and evaluate telecoms systems. This collaboration was based on the use of the TTOOL platform, accredited by the Carnot TSN institute.

Back to the Rendez-vous Carnot 2025 in Lyon
On October 15 and 16, 2025, the Carnot TSN Institute took part in the Rendez-vous Carnot 2025, held at the Lyon Convention Center. This event, which has become a must for partnership research and innovation, brought together several thousand participants from all over France to develop new collaborations between public research and industry.

Europe's largest industrial show, Global Industrie, was held from March 25 to 28, 2024 at the Parc des expositions Paris Nord Villepinte. Over 2,300 exhibitors gathered for round tables, conferences and public project announcements. The Carnot TSN Institute was present at this major event, on the Carnot Network stand.

The aim of the platform is to study and evaluate underwater acoustic communication systems. The purpose of underwater acoustic communication is to transmit information underwater by acoustic link, enabling ships, submarines and underwater drones to communicate over long distances under the sea.
