June 29, 2022 - Big Data & AI - Industry of the future - Media of the future - Networks & IoT - Smart City

The Eurosatory trade show, the world's leading land and air defense and security exhibition, was the occasion for the signing of a Strategic Enterprise Partnership between the Institut Mines-Télécom (Odile Gauthier, Managing Director of the Institut Mines-Télécom) and the ETI Esaris Industries (Bruno Russo, Chairman of Esaris Industries).

Esaris Industries is a long-established specialist in electrical components for the aerospace, aeronautics and rail industries. This French family-owned group draws on decades of experience in electrical contacts, connectors for harsh environments, metal processing and assembly, mechanically-welded assemblies, and stamped, bent or folded parts. Its scope of action includes development, supply of materials, manufacturing and associated services.

Institut Mines-Télécom and its two Carnot Télécom & Société numérique and Carnot M.I.N.E.S labels have been recognized for the quality of their collaborative research. This is in line with the key challenge of ensuring the competitiveness of SMEs at the crossroads of industry and digital technology.

The aim of this agreement is to set up a strategic partnership based on the scientific, technical and technological expertise that the Institut Mines-Télécom can make available to Esaris Industries via its research and training laboratories within its schools. Esaris engineers and teacher-researchers will be working on key topics for the industries of the future: industrial 5G, electrical and electromechanical engineering, advanced materials, industrial processes and the Internet of Things.
