Carnot TSN was present at Global Industrie, France's largest industrial show

Created in 2018, Global Industrie is a leading European trade show, focusing on the entire industrial sector. For this fifth edition at Eurexpo Lyon from March 7 to 10, 2023, inaugurated by Under the theme of " l'industrie se mobilise" ("industry mobilizes"), more than 2,300 exhibitors gathered for round tables, conferences and announcements of public projects.
As France's largest showcase for industrial innovation, Global Industrie represents all sectors of industry. It provides French production sectors and companies with solutions and know-how to meet the challenges of ecological, societal, commercial and energy transitions.
The Carnot Network was present at two events:
- Salon Smart Industrie with a joint stand:Major trends, risks and transitions: anticipating through R&D and innovation with 7 Carnot demonstrators
- Salon Industrie with a stand on surface treatment represented by 5 Carnots, including the Carnot Telecom & Digital Society Institute (Carnot TSN) with its FEMTO component school.
Grouped together at the surface treatment stand, experts from the various institutes (Carnot TSN, MICA, Ingenierie@Lyon, Chimie Balard Cirimat and Icéel) were able to showcase their differentiating skills through demonstrators illustrating the scientific excellence and expertise available to industry.
Four Carnot experts also took part in three conferences:
- "Batteries made in France: what are the industrial challenges?", with Salim El Houat, from the Mob start-up.
- "From robot to AMR, the world of robotics is changing", with Caroline Vienne, Deputy Head of Interactive Robotics at Carnot CEA LIST, and Ioana Ocnarescu, Director of Research at Strate école de design, part of Carnot Télécom & Société numérique.
- "Digital twins, Metavers and blockchain: the new building blocks of Industry 4.0?", with Ivan Iordanoff, Director of Research and Innovation at Arts et Métiers, and an expert in digital, human and environmental transformations for Carnot ARTS companies.
