The major winners of the 2023 edition
The Grand Prix Innovation - in partnership with Carnot Télécom Société et Numérique
This prestigious prize is awarded to the start-up that has demonstrated the highest level of technological innovation and the ability to positively transform its sector of activity. The winning start-up receives a cash prize of €15,000.
The prize goes to DeepHawk, incubated by IMT Atlantique. DeepHawk develops frugal AI for visual quality control in industry. DeepHawk requires less data (only 30 to 50 images) to train the model, and reduces the false positive rate. Learning is based on conforming products, so there's no need to pre-learn all the possible defects on a part.
The Ecological and Social Transition Prize - in partnership with Groupe Caisse des Dépôts
This distinction is awarded to the startup that has made a significant contribution to preserving the environment, reducing carbon emissions and promoting sustainability. The winner receives a cash prize of €7,500.
The prize goes to üMotion, incubated by Télécom Paris. The team aims to create a utility vehicle adapted to last-mile urban and suburban logistics, with an innovative propulsion system. Today, most commercial vehicles run on diesel. The Vike is a "0 emission" vehicle with low electrical consumption at half the cost of a conventional electric equivalent.
The Impact Territoire Prize - in partnership with Groupe Caisse des Dépôts
This award highlights the startup whose activities have had a positive impact on local communities, contributing to local economic and social development. The winner receives a cash prize of €7,500.
Carbon Blue Developpement, incubated by IMT Starter (Télécom SudParis, Institut Mines-Télécom Business School, ENSIIE) wins the prize. Carbon Blue's innovation lies in the fact that it has created a new profession of Plastic Cabinet Makers®, transforming plastic waste into a craft activity in local micro-factories that recycle 30T/year.
