For Christian Picory-Donné, Director of the Institut Carnot TSN and Director of Partnership Research and Development at the Institut Mines-Télécom, and contributor to the "5G industrielle" report: "5G is an essential tool for the industry of the future".
As foreseen in the report, and in the context of its ecosystem, Institut Mines-Télécom will be looking into ways of offering a comprehensive "Industrial 5G" training program, notably as part of a consortium responding to the "Compétences et Métiers d'Avenir" (Skills and Professions of the Future) AMI, for example. "We are also looking into the possibility of setting up "Industrial 5G Fablab Campuses", as announced by Agnès Pannier-Runacher, Minister Delegate for Industry, and Cédric O, Secretary of State for Digital Transition and Electronic Communications.

The Mission 5G industrielle was initiated on October 19, 2021 by the Minister Delegate in charge of Industry, and the Secretary of State in charge of Digital Transition and Electronic Communications.
It is part of the acceleration strategy for 5G and future telecoms network technologies, in conjunction with the "Digital Infrastructures" and "Solutions for the industry of the future" CSFs (Comités Stratégiques de Filière).
